At HerCare, our commitment to women’s health extends beyond borders. This February, our nonprofit launched a vital initiative to support impoverished communities in Brazil by addressing two fundamental needs: menstrual health and nutrition.
Our team proudly donated over 500 boxes of pads, ensuring that young girls and women—ranging in age from 9 to their 40s—have access to essential menstrual products. Alongside these donations, we also provided traditional food staples, offering much-needed sustenance to families in need.
What Was Included:
Each care package contained:
✨ Boxes of sanitary pads to ensure menstrual hygiene and dignity.
🍚 Rice and beans, staple foods that provide essential nutrients.
🥖 Bread and pasta for accessible and filling meals.
🫒 Cooking oil to support meal preparation.
🍫 Snacks and sweets to bring small moments of joy.
Why It Matters
Lack of menstrual products can disrupt education, work, and daily life for many women. By providing these essential supplies, we are not only promoting hygiene and health but also empowering women to live with dignity and confidence.
Continuing the Mission
HerCare remains dedicated to creating lasting change. Whether through menstrual product donations, health workshops, or advocacy efforts, we will continue working toward a world where no woman has to choose between basic necessities.
We are incredibly grateful to our supporters who made this possible—together, we are making a real impact. Stay tuned for more initiatives as we continue our mission! 💕
